Wevie is Al Boorman - a composer, producer and sound designer based in the UK.

Drawn to music production from an early age, Al started out at the age of 6 - by recording a group of chickens down a telephone while hitting a 3 stringed guitar and a biscuit tin.

Fast forward 20 years - and using this unique skillset to make 'unusual' records, he started gaining interest from animators and directors to use his music. And so began Wevie.tv - exploring different composition and production techniques to soundtrack animation, motion graphics and film.

Now, Al continues to make records and work on commissions, regularly crossing the streams to get the best out of both worlds. Not a great deal has changed since the chickens though: that sense of play and experimentation still holds true - and along with years of experience working on a wide range of projects, brings a unique understanding of both creating and enhancing character with sound.

Whatever the story or audience, the right audio really brings things to life. It's where the magic happens...
