"In the weird world of Wevie Stonder, nothing is straightforward.."

Wevie Stonder is my band. It's not a normal band. Or really a band.

We are signed to Skam Records, and have just released a new album called Sure Beats Living - a record described as "a strong contender for album of 2025"  by The Wire magazine.

I'm at the helm during the writing and recording process, which has evolved into a wide range of genres and experimental production techniques. We've released several albums, done a bunch of absurd live shows, recorded sessions for the BBC and brought a man out of a coma with a song about chimps.

The focus for me is very much about making new and unexpected sounding records - which are hopefully both entertaining and surprising in equal measures. If it gets a 'what the f**k is this?!' reaction from someone after listening to track one of an album, I know we're on target.
